The .338 Lapua. The round everyone wants, but no one needs

Some people call it the son of the .50 BMG. The Lapua is the kind of round when you want to kill a 3 elephants at 2000 yards with one shot. The caliber is so impractical that I'm pretty sure if you own one, you only have it just to say you own one. A standard Lapua rifle costs 1200 dollars bone stock. A box of 20 rounds cost just about 60 dollars. That's 3 bucks a damn round. The longest sniper shot in history was made with a .338 lapua which was recorded to be over 8,000 feet away. The round is big, bold, and badass! I hate it!
        This round in my opinion is the most dumb thing ever created. The only reason I've seen people buy this round is because the cannot afford a .50 caliber rifle. I just don't understand it. The round is too small to stand up to the .50 BMG, but it's bigger than a 30-06 so it's impractical to kill any animal in North America with it. The round is literally worthless. You can't even use the long distance accuracy argument anymore. the 6.5 creedmore has been released and it has been proven to shoot an equally long distance as the lapua, and it's the size of a .308! That means, unlike the Lapua, you can shoot a deer with out having to worry about blowing it's damn head off!
         If you want a very unnecessary big ass round, get a .50 BMG. If you want a long distance round thats ethical, get a 6.5 creedmore. stay the hell away from the .338 lapua, you don't need it.

the Ruger 10/22. yes, everyone has one.

I shouldn't have to tell you what a Ruger 10/22 is. Fact of the matter is, you probably own one. The Ruger 10/22 is the Swiss army knife of rifles. It is such a customizable platform. There are a literal shit ton of models for this rifle.       The Carbine model is one of the more popular versions of the rifle. everyone has seen a ruger Takedown. Wood stock, 25 round banana mag, flip up rear iron sight. It's as standard as standard gets, and it's beautiful. This was probably the first gun you ever got.
