Once apon a time, A movie called Dirty Harry came out. In one scene, Clint Eastwood called his .44 magnum the most powerful handgun in the world. He could have never been so wrong. If Clint Eastwood had ever known about the .500 magnum, he would turn white with fear.        The .500 magnum is considered to be the most powerful handgun in the world. The round has been used as an African big game cartridge for many years, and it's obvious why. shooting this round at something is like shooting a brick out of your hand at a whopping 1,800 fps. I got a question for you. Do you want your AR-15 to shoot beyond 1000 yards? the real question is, who doesn't? The .224 valkyrie is so accurate, you could shoot the pecker off of a fly from 400 yards, and leave the balls unruffled. This rifle caliber runs circles around the 6.5 creedmore. Almost nobody knows about this round, and it pisses me off.          This is the most accurate round ever made for the AR platform.  This round shoots flatter and faster the .223, the .22 nobler, and the 6.5 Grendel. The round maintains super sonic speed even past 1,000 yards, which is incredible considering the size of the round. The round looks like a fat version of the .223. the round shoots 2,700 ft/s right out of the barrel, which is considerably faster than even an F35 fighter jet! Some people call it the son of the .50 BMG. The Lapua is the kind of round when you want to kill a 3 elephants at 2000 yards with one shot. The caliber is so impractical that I'm pretty sure if you own one, you only have it just to say you own one. A standard Lapua rifle costs 1200 dollars bone stock. A box of 20 rounds cost just about 60 dollars. That's 3 bucks a damn round. The longest sniper shot in history was made with a .338 lapua which was recorded to be over 8,000 feet away. The round is big, bold, and badass! I hate it!         This round in my opinion is the most dumb thing ever created. The only reason I've seen people buy this round is because the cannot afford a .50 caliber rifle. I just don't understand it. The round is too small to stand up to the .50 BMG, but it's bigger than a 30-06 so it's impractical to kill any animal in North America with it. The round is literally worthless.
