The Barrett .50 BMG. The middle finger to gun control.
This gun is the reason I love America. The Barrett M82 is the truly American rifle. This is more than just a sniper. This gun is labelled as an anti- material rifle!
This rifle is capable of piercing many kinds of vehicle armor. The rifle is capable of being shot effectively past 4,000 yards. This firearm is the pinnacle of all rifles. It's considered a standard issue sniper in multiple military branches in multiple countries. That's not the best part, however. You want to know the best part? This rifle can be bought by ANYBODY. You do not need special government clearance with this rifle. This Rifle can be legally bought just like any other civilian rifle on the market.
Is this rifle practical? No, but who the hell cares? it's a damn .50 BMG. You don't use this rifle to hunt. You use this rifle to decimate anything in your path. I have seen people bust through whole engine blocks with a .50 BMG. Can you afford a .50 BMG? probably not. A Barrett M82 costs around 9,000 dollars stock, and you could buy a nice truck with that. Would I buy one? Hell no. However, just like the .500, if you get a chance to shoot one, do it!
